Today was the first of (I believe) five AP Art History Field Trips. We went to the J. Paul Getty Center in L.A. SOOOO MUCH FUN!! They had beeeeeeautiful paintings and sculptures. They had an actual guy there restoring "Rhinoceros" by Jean-Baptiste Oudry. In addittion to that, they just added Van Gogh's "Irises"...which they payed $55 million for. O.o It made me hurt. But by far my favorite of the day was "The Farewell of Telemachus and Eucharis," which would have been the son of Odysseus (Homer's "The Odyssey") and his nymph lover (Link:

We go next to LA County Museum on February 3, so I will update again soon!
